Laços de Família

Vai chegando setembro e só então eu começo a procurar as datas de estreias e demais informações sobre os meus seriados americanos favoritos. 

Então, apesar de ser notícia velha para muitos, eu mesma só soube agora que a série Brothers and Sisters foi cancelada. 

Depois de cinco ótimas temporadas... A família Walker de Pasadena e seus agregados vão deixar saudades...

Entre uma taça de vinho e outra (ou outras), eles se comunicavam como ninguém:

Kevin: "The cat's out of the bag, mom."

Nora: "Then put it back in!"

Sarah: "Come on Kevin! We're Walkers. Let's go do what Walker's do best!"
Kevin: "Get Drunk?"

 

Quando Tommy resolve trabalhar com a Holly -
Sarah: "I think you're crazy to go into business with her, but I'll watch your back, and I'll drink your wine - probably all of it. And one more thing, you can tell her this, you can tell her that if she screws with you, I will kill her. I swear to God I will."

Sarah: "Justin... you're...."
Justin: "The greatest broth ever, blah, blah, blah... I just want you to feel bad for all the times you used to dress me up in Mom's clothes"
Sarah: "That was Kitty. I just painted your nails."

 

Nora: "This is the step where my son Justin split his head open when he was wasted out of his mind. Out there is the swimming pool where my husband drowned on my daughter's birthday. Up there in the very first bedroom is where I'm nursing Kitty through chemo. It's the very same bedroom that Sarah stayed in when she was going through her divorce. In there is the living room where my son Kevin married his partner Scotty. So this is the box I live in. It's not med school but it's not playing it safe either."

Kitty: "You are gonna have to embrace your inner princess."
Rebecca: "I don't have an inner princess."
Kitty: "You are gonna have to get one."

Chad: "Hello! I keep thinking about you."
Kevin: "That's fine. I think about me all the time."

Sarah: "Kevin, this is insane! I've come back here, and Ojai Foods has turned into Ojai Dudes!"

Nora: "Please, please, please. Just be nice tonight. Just be yourselves."
Kevin: "Be nice or be ourselves. Which is it?"

Justin: "The last thing I need is another sibling."
Rebecca: "I'm sure you said the same thing about me but look where that got us?"
Justin: "If you really think that I'm going to be dating Ryan in a year, that's really weird and gross."
